There were 651 short-selling stocks. CSOP HS TECH (03033) and TENCENT (00700) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.69 billion and HK$728.8 million, or 11.77% and 5.09% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 63.99% and 11.99% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-SW (09988) and HSBC HOLDINGS (00005) registered HK$532.71 million and HK$525.5 million of short sales, accounting for 3.72% and 3.67% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 17.94% and 37.11% of respective stock's turnover.
