There were 700 short-selling stocks. HSCEI ETF (02828) and BABA-W (09988) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.7 billion and HK$2.15 billion, or 9.29% and 7.42% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 31.57% and 18.8% of respective stock's turnover.
TENCENT (00700) and TRACKER FUND (02800) registered HK$1.49 billion and HK$1.14 billion of short sales, accounting for 5.15% and 3.94% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 16.16% and 7.52% of respective stock's turnover.
