There were 716 short-selling stocks. BYD COMPANY (01211) and HSCEI ETF (02828) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.1 billion and HK$1.42 billion, or 8.22% and 5.56% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 38.19% and 19.34% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and TENCENT (00700) registered HK$1.21 billion and HK$1.16 billion of short sales, accounting for 4.74% and 4.54% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 12.68% and 8.42% of respective stock's turnover.
