There were 693 short-selling stocks. HSCEI ETF (02828) and XIAOMI-W (01810) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.92 billion and HK$1.61 billion, or 9.13% and 7.65% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 20.57% and 21.94% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH (03033) and BABA-W (09988) registered HK$1.4 billion and HK$1.4 billion of short sales, accounting for 6.65% and 6.65% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 37.26% and 15.82% of respective stock's turnover.
