There were 698 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and HSCEI ETF (02828) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.44 billion and HK$1.62 billion, or 8.87% and 5.87% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 24.95% and 22.29% of respective stock's turnover.
BYD COMPANY (01211) and TENCENT (00700) registered HK$1.48 billion and HK$1.36 billion of short sales, accounting for 5.37% and 4.96% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 34.57% and 11.89% of respective stock's turnover.
