There were 690 short-selling stocks. HSCEI ETF (02828) and TRACKER FUND (02800) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$3.41 billion and HK$2.99 billion, or 11.64% and 10.2% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 45.52% and 32.21% of respective stock's turnover.
XIAOMI-W (01810) and BABA-W (09988) registered HK$1.52 billion and HK$1.16 billion of short sales, accounting for 5.17% and 3.94% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 14.24% and 14.63% of respective stock's turnover.
