There were 698 short-selling stocks. HSCEI ETF (02828) and BABA-W (09988) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.73 billion and HK$2.6 billion, or 7.26% and 6.92% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 37.91% and 11.17% of respective stock's turnover.
MEITUAN-W (03690) and XIAOMI-W (01810) registered HK$1.63 billion and HK$1.62 billion of short sales, accounting for 4.33% and 4.32% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 17.43% and 15.49% of respective stock's turnover.
