There were 693 short-selling stocks. BABA-W (09988) and CSOP HS TECH (03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.28 billion and HK$2.21 billion, or 7.37% and 7.12% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 27.27% and 46.33% of respective stock's turnover.
BYD COMPANY (01211) and MEITUAN-W (03690) registered HK$1.85 billion and HK$1.53 billion of short sales, accounting for 5.97% and 4.92% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 32.7% and 17.95% of respective stock's turnover.
