There were 713 short-selling stocks. CSOP HS TECH (03033) and HSCEI ETF (02828) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$7.12 billion and HK$5.78 billion, or 14.46% and 11.75% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 69.21% and 39.89% of respective stock's turnover.
BYD COMPANY (01211) and BEKE-W (02423) registered HK$2.81 billion and HK$2.67 billion of short sales, accounting for 5.72% and 5.43% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 42.51% and 64.99% of respective stock's turnover.
