There were 696 short-selling stocks. CSOP HS TECH (03033) and BABA-W (09988) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.97 billion and HK$1.4 billion, or 6.96% and 4.94% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 27.74% and 16.92% of respective stock's turnover.
HSCEI ETF (02828) and BYD COMPANY (01211) registered HK$1.33 billion and HK$1.09 billion of short sales, accounting for 4.69% and 3.84% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 15.92% and 35.29% of respective stock's turnover.
