There were 680 short-selling stocks. HSCEI ETF (02828) and MEITUAN-W (03690) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.89 billion and HK$528.66 million, or 12.79% and 3.57% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 37.53% and 14.5% of respective stock's turnover.
XL2CSOPHSTECH (07226) and BABA-W (09988) registered HK$502.12 million and HK$446.31 million of short sales, accounting for 3.39% and 3.02% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 65.72% and 13.52% of respective stock's turnover.
