There were 683 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and HSCEI ETF (02828) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.87 billion and HK$868.84 million, or 12.84% and 5.98% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 24.75% and 10.74% of respective stock's turnover.
GUOTAI JUNAN I (01788) and BABA-W (09988) registered HK$667.55 million and HK$514.94 million of short sales, accounting for 4.59% and 3.54% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 15.51% and 12.15% of respective stock's turnover.
