There were 674 short-selling stocks. INNOVENT BIO (01801) and TRACKER FUND (02800) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$985.97 million and HK$786.28 million, or 7.12% and 5.68% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 45.54% and 19.22% of respective stock's turnover.
ZA ONLINE (06060) and PING AN (02318) registered HK$635.87 million and HK$458.08 million of short sales, accounting for 4.59% and 3.31% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 26.64% and 24.98% of respective stock's turnover.
INNOVENT BIO closed down HK$3.25, or 3.94%, to HK$79.15. TRACKER FUND ended down HK$0.1, or 0.4%, to HK$24.8. ZA ONLINE fell HK$0.94, or 4.71% to HK$19. PING AN declined by HK$0.45, or 0.87%, to HK$51.
