billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$26.63 billion, or 12.48% of the market's
turnover. There were 709 short-selling stocks. CSOP HS TECH (03033) and TRACKER FUND
(02800) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.81 billion and HK$1.45
billion, or 10.55% and 5.43% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 45.06% and 15.34% of respective stock's turnover.
MEITUAN-W (03690) and BABA-W (09988) registered HK$1.13 billion and HK$969.99 million of
short sales, accounting for 4.26% and 3.64% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 15.3% and 11.14% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH closed up HK$0.1, or 1.95%, to HK$5.235. TRACKER FUND ended up HK$0.28, or
1.15%, to HK$24.64. MEITUAN-W rose HK$3.2, or 2.69% to HK$122.2. BABA-W jumped HK$1.6, or
1.52%, to HK$107.
