[ET Net News Agency, 10 July 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$246.73
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$29.03 billion, or 11.77% of the market's
turnover. There were 716 short-selling stocks. BYD COMPANY (01211) and TRACKER FUND
(02800) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.91 billion and HK$1.78
billion, or 6.59% and 6.12% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 44.9% and 15.73% of respective stock's turnover.
PING AN (02318) and CSOP HS TECH (03033) registered HK$1.39 billion and HK$1.28 billion
of short sales, accounting for 4.78% and 4.4% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 33.16% and 36.34% of respective stock's
turnover.
BYD COMPANY closed down HK$1.8, or 1.48%, to HK$119.5. TRACKER FUND ended up HK$0.14, or
0.57%, to HK$24.52. PING AN rose HK$2.15, or 4.34% to HK$51.65. CSOP HS TECH declined by
HK$0.025, or 0.49%, to HK$5.125.
