There were 728 short-selling stocks. HSCEI ETF (02828) and CSOP HS TECH (03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.59 billion and HK$1.95 billion, or 8.59% and 6.47% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 27.22% and 43.07% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and TRACKER FUND (02800) registered HK$1.44 billion and HK$1.22 billion of short sales, accounting for 4.78% and 4.05% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 15.03% and 10.04% of respective stock's turnover.
