There were 752 short-selling stocks. BABA-W (09988) and HSCEI ETF (02828) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$5.43 billion and HK$2.92 billion, or 14.36% and 7.73% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 21.92% and 14.44% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND (02800) and TENCENT (00700) registered HK$2.51 billion and HK$1.52 billion of short sales, accounting for 6.64% and 4.02% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 12.62% and 13.49% of respective stock's turnover.
