There were 760 short-selling stocks. BABA-W (09988) and TRACKER FUND (02800) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$743.74 million and HK$446.16 million, or 9.3% and 5.58% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 16.45% and 13.56% of respective stock's turnover.
POP MART (09992) and CSOP HS TECH (03033) registered HK$291.87 million and HK$279.3 million of short sales, accounting for 3.65% and 3.49% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 13.54% and 9.6% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W closed up HK$1.1, or 0.73%, to HK$151.7. TRACKER FUND ended down HK$0.02, or 0.08%, to HK$26.04. POP MART rose HK$8.4, or 3.84% to HK$227. CSOP HS TECH jumped HK$0.01, or 0.18%, to HK$5.495.
