[ET Net News Agency, 3 December 2025] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$86.07 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$11.51 billion, or 13.38% of the
market's turnover. There were 751 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and BABA-W
(09988) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.1 billion and HK$833.09
million, or 9.54% and 7.24% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 17.37% and 19.59% of respective stock's turnover.
HSCEI ETF (02828) and MEITUAN-W (03690) registered HK$570.63 million and HK$365.69
million of short sales, accounting for 4.96% and 3.18% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 15.33% and 20.78% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.22, or 0.84%, to HK$26.02. BABA-W ended down HK$3.1, or
1.97%, to HK$153.9. HSCEI ETF fell HK$0.94, or 1% to HK$92.82. MEITUAN-W declined by
HK$0.65, or 0.67%, to HK$95.85.
