[ET Net News Agency, 3 December 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$164.36 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$25.14 billion, or 15.29% of the
market's turnover. There were 791 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and BABA-W
(09988) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.65 billion and HK$1.32
billion, or 6.57% and 5.26% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 15.93% and 15.88% of respective stock's turnover.
HSCEI ETF (02828) and MEITUAN-W (03690) registered HK$1.06 billion and HK$803.11 million
of short sales, accounting for 4.21% and 3.19% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 15.33% and 21.41% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.3, or 1.14%, to HK$25.94. BABA-W ended down HK$3.4, or
2.17%, to HK$153.6. HSCEI ETF fell HK$1.36, or 1.45% to HK$92.4. MEITUAN-W declined by
HK$0.6, or 0.62%, to HK$95.9.
