[ET Net News Agency, 4 December 2025] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$92.28 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$12.46 billion, or 13.5% of the
market's turnover. There were 755 short-selling stocks. HSCEI ETF (02828) and TRACKER FUND
(02800) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.96 billion and HK$1.04
billion, or 15.76% and 8.37% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 45.53% and 22.35% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and CSOP HS TECH (03033) registered HK$685.87 million and HK$392.98
million of short sales, accounting for 5.5% and 3.15% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 16.86% and 15.99% of respective stock's
turnover.
HSCEI ETF closed up HK$0.48, or 0.52%, to HK$92.88. TRACKER FUND ended up HK$0.1, or
0.39%, to HK$26.04. BABA-W fell HK$0.4, or 0.26% to HK$153.2. CSOP HS TECH jumped HK$0.04,
or 0.74%, to HK$5.46.
