[ET Net News Agency, 5 December 2025] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$81.66 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$10.06 billion, or 12.32% of the
market's turnover. There were 769 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and XIAOMI-W
(01810) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.24 billion and HK$917.74
million, or 12.31% and 9.13% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 29.75% and 23.62% of respective stock's turnover.
HSCEI ETF (02828) and PING AN (02318) registered HK$538.31 million and HK$389.5 million
of short sales, accounting for 5.35% and 3.87% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 13.24% and 23.82% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.04, or 0.15%, to HK$26.1. XIAOMI-W ended up HK$0.62, or
1.48%, to HK$42.6. HSCEI ETF fell HK$0.1, or 0.11% to HK$93.24. PING AN jumped HK$1.55, or
2.74%, to HK$58.2.
