There were 789 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and HSCEI ETF (02828) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$4.4 billion and HK$2.86 billion, or 14.91% and 9.69% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 43.53% and 49.02% of respective stock's turnover.
XIAOMI-W (01810) and TENCENT (00700) registered HK$1.23 billion and HK$1.05 billion of short sales, accounting for 4.16% and 3.57% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 23.93% and 17.23% of respective stock's turnover.
