There were 799 short-selling stocks. HSCEI ETF (02828) and TRACKER FUND (02800) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$9.8 billion and HK$5.67 billion, or 21.71% and 12.56% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 53.87% and 50.52% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and TENCENT (00700) registered HK$2.01 billion and HK$1.7 billion of short sales, accounting for 4.45% and 3.77% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 19.61% and 15.61% of respective stock's turnover.
