There were 772 short-selling stocks. BABA-W (09988) and MEITUAN-W (03690) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$873.33 million and HK$711.92 million, or 5.81% and 4.73% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 7.63% and 18.88% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND (02800) and TENCENT (00700) registered HK$709.7 million and HK$638.68 million of short sales, accounting for 4.72% and 4.25% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 11.26% and 10.99% of respective stock's turnover.
