There were 819 short-selling stocks. XIAOMI-W (01810) and BABA-W (09988) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.53 billion and HK$2.49 billion, or 5.92% and 5.83% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 31.09% and 9.95% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH (03033) and TENCENT (00700) registered HK$2.42 billion and HK$1.98 billion of short sales, accounting for 5.66% and 4.62% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 33.89% and 11.56% of respective stock's turnover.
