[ET Net News Agency, 11 February 2026] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$118.61 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$16.1 billion, or 13.58% of the
market's turnover. There were 774 short-selling stocks. CSOP HS TECH (03033) and XIAOMI-W
(01810) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.33 billion and HK$659.58
million, or 8.27% and 4.1% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 54.89% and 13.06% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and SMIC (00981) registered HK$653.62 million and HK$584.06 million of
short sales, accounting for 4.06% and 3.63% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 16.53% and 14.53% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH closed up HK$0.07, or 1.31%, to HK$5.395. XIAOMI-W ended up HK$1.68, or
4.72%, to HK$37.26. BABA-W rose HK$1.3, or 0.81% to HK$161.8. SMIC declined by HK$2.6, or
3.63%, to HK$68.95.
