There were 866 short-selling stocks. CSOP HS TECH (03033) and TENCENT (00700) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$3.4 billion and HK$2.19 billion, or 7.91% and 5.09% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 46.04% and 11.65% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and MEITUAN-W (03690) registered HK$1.87 billion and HK$1.66 billion of short sales, accounting for 4.34% and 3.85% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 15.2% and 30.02% of respective stock's turnover.
