[ET Net News Agency, 4 March 2026] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$364.3
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$66.22 billion, or 18.18% of the market's
turnover. There were 871 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and CSOP HS TECH
(03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$5.61 billion and HK$5.21
billion, or 8.47% and 7.86% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 29.71% and 18.34% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and XL2CSOPHYNIX (07709) registered HK$2.98 billion and HK$2.94 billion
of short sales, accounting for 4.5% and 4.43% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 14.07% and 48.06% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.46, or 1.77%, to HK$25.5. CSOP HS TECH ended down
HK$0.042, or 0.88%, to HK$4.72. BABA-W fell HK$4.9, or 3.64% to HK$129.9. XL2CSOPHYNIX
declined by HK$6.1, or 19.56%, to HK$25.08.
