There were 786 short-selling stocks. TENCENT (00700) and BABA-W (09988) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$3.76 billion and HK$938.75 million, or 18.45% and 4.61% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 19.39% and 18.35% of respective stock's turnover.
XIAOMI-W (01810) and MEITUAN-W (03690) registered HK$747.53 million and HK$721 million of short sales, accounting for 3.67% and 3.54% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 29.89% and 41.96% of respective stock's turnover.
