There were 825 short-selling stocks. TENCENT (00700) and BYD COMPANY (01211) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.54 billion and HK$1.44 billion, or 5.68% and 5.31% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 19.67% and 40.88% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND (02800) and POP MART (09992) registered HK$1.35 billion and HK$1.1 billion of short sales, accounting for 4.98% and 4.05% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 16.59% and 20.89% of respective stock's turnover.
