There were 789 short-selling stocks. XIAOMI-W (01810) and BYD COMPANY (01211) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.11 billion and HK$997.67 million, or 5.3% and 4.74% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 41.01% and 41.22% of respective stock's turnover.
TENCENT (00700) and CSOP HS TECH (03033) registered HK$726.13 million and HK$693.34 million of short sales, accounting for 3.45% and 3.3% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 14.97% and 19.45% of respective stock's turnover.
