There were 767 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and BABA-W (09988) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.87 billion and HK$1.38 billion, or 9.8% and 7.25% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 25.49% and 23.43% of respective stock's turnover.
TENCENT (00700) and XIAOMI-W (01810) registered HK$1.27 billion and HK$881.49 million of short sales, accounting for 6.68% and 4.62% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 22.71% and 40.14% of respective stock's turnover.
