[ET Net News Agency, 23 October 2026] The Hang Seng Index opened 138 points lower today at 23,513. It reached a high of 23,513, down 138 points, and a low of 22,879, down 772 points. The Hang Seng Index closed down 717 points, or 3%, at 22,934.
Southbound funds recorded a net outflow of HK$9.22b for the full day, increased by 107.9%. The top stocks by net Southbound buying were TENCENT (00700), REALORD TECH (01196) and CSOP HS TECH (03033) in that order. The top stocks by net selling were BABA-W (09988), SMIC (00981) and WUXI BIO (02269) in that order.
