[ET Net News Agency, 27 October 2026] The Hang Seng Index opened 48 points higher today at 23,260. It reached a high of 23,313, up 102 points, and a low of 22,983, down 227 points. The Hang Seng Index closed down 170 points, or 0.7%, at 23,041.
Southbound funds recorded a net outflow of HK$1.24b for the full day, decreased by 40.4%. The top stocks by net Southbound buying were XIAOMI-W (01810), Z.AI (02513) and CHINA MOBILE (00941) in that order. The top stocks by net selling were YOFC (06869), KB LAMINATES (01888) and SMIC (00981) in that order.
Mainboard turnover increased by 1.5% to nearly HK$178.35b. Among this, Stock Connect turnover exceeded HK$60.1b, accounting for 33.7% of the total turnover.
