[ET Net News Agency, 2 November 2026] According to data released by Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (00388), among the top ten active stocks traded via Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect, CNOOC (00883) and YOFC (06869) saw a sharp surge in Southbound turnover under Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect. Total buying and selling amounts for CNOOC and YOFC via the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect reached HK$2.45b and HK$2.22b respectively. CNOOC and YOFC recorded a net inflow of HK$633m and a net outflow of HK$177m, respectively.
CIG (06166) and CCB (00939) have entered the top ten active stocks traded via the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect for the first time in many days. Southbound buying amount for CIG and CCB via the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect reached HK$445m and HK$409m respectively, while selling amount reached HK$456m and HK$445m respectively, resulting in net outflows of HK$11m and HK$36m respectively.
