[ET Net News Agency, 3 November 2026] The Hang Seng Index opened 76 points higher today at 23,469. It reached a high of 23,549, up 155 points, and a low of 23,347, down 46 points. The Hang Seng Index closed up 132 points, or 0.6%, at 23,525.
Southbound funds recorded a net inflow of HK$23.42b for the full day, compared to a net outflow of HK$4.47b on the previous session. The top stocks by net Southbound buying were TRACKER FUND (02800), CSOP HS TECH (03033) and HSCEI ETF (02828) in that order. The top stocks by net selling were XIAOMI-W (01810), SMIC (00981) and GENSCRIPT B-1K (01548) in that order.
Mainboard turnover increased by 15.4% to nearly HK$236.4b. Among this, Stock Connect turnover exceeded HK$95.4b, accounting for 40.4% of the total turnover.
