The Hang Seng Index now rose 801 points, or 3.4% to 24,720; with market turnover of 163.65b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index now rose 261 points, or 3.2% to 8,319; the Hang Seng TECH Index now rose 214 points, or 5.5% to 4,150.
BABA-W (09988) now rose HK$7.2, or 7.2% to HK$107.8, with turnover of HK$6.7b; TENCENT (00700) rose HK$27.4, or 6.8% to HK$429, with turnover of HK$11.48b; HSBC HOLDINGS (00005) rose HK$5.78, or 4.3% to HK$141.4, with turnover of HK$1.57b. (ed)
