[ET Net News Agency, 2 July 2015] Evergrande Real Estate (03333) said an application
for listing of its joint venture Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao Football Club Co., Ltd. was
filed to National Equities Exchange and Quotations Co., Ltd. and a letter of acceptance
was received.
The National Equities Exchange and Quotations System (NEEQS), also known as the "PRC New
Third Board", is an equity trading platform for the sale of existing shares or private
placing of new shares by small and medium sized enterprises.
Evergrande Taobao is mainly engaged in the operation of a professional football club,
which is among the most successful professional football clubs with the most powerful
influence in the PRC and Asia now.
As Evergrande does not intend to effect any sale of its shares in Evergrande Taobao in
connection with the listing, and there is no planned issue of new shares by Evergrande
Taobao in connection with the listing, Evergrande Taobao will remain a joint venture held
by Evergrande as to 60% of its equity interest. (HL)
