[ET Net News Agency, 11 December 2020] Citi Research lifted its target price for China
Pacific Insurance (CPIC) (02601) to HK$39 from HK$28.4 on a better business growth outlook
and reiterated its "buy" rating.
The research house adjusted its 2020-22 EPS estimates up by 2-3% respectively on the
back of less reserving pressure as interest rates climb higher.
Citi said CPIC started its 2021 jump start pre-sales in advance in October 2020, more
than a month earlier than last year. This laid a solid foundation for the company's
premium income and NBV growth in 2021, turning around from the declines in 2019 and 1H
