[ET Net News Agency, 16 January 2018] Morgan Stanley lifted its target price for
Henderson Land (00012) by 2% to HK$49, and maintained its "underweight" rating.
The research house raised Henderson's FY2018 EPS estimate by 14% to include the disposal
gain from the disposal of a non-core office building in North Point. It estimated such
disposal gains to be HK$4.5bn.
Morgan also raised its FY2019 EPS forecast by 19% to reflect better than expected
selling prices and sell through rates achieved in 2017. Also, it expects a slight delay in
profit recognition of HK residential projects, like Eden Manor, from FY2018 to FY2019,
resulting from changes in accounting rules (HKFRS 9). (KL)
