[ET Net News Agency, 22 March 2018] HengTen Networks (00136) said its profit
attributable to owners for the year ended 31 December 2017 surged 21.3 times year-on-year
to Rmb96.22 million.
Basic and diluted earnings per share were Rmb11.85 cents and Rmb11.72 cents.
Revenue amounted to Rmb262 million, an increase of 131% from a year earlier.
The profit was mainly due to a continuous growth in the internet community services
business segment, which contributed a segment profit of about Rmb124.9 million for the
year ended 31 December 2017 as compared with a segment profit of about Rmb7.1 million for
the year ended 31 December 2016; and a gain of about Rmb10.8 million in fair value change
of equity investments was recorded for the year ended 31 December 2017 as compared with a
gain of about Rmb1.0 million was recorded for the year ended 31 December 2016.
No final dividend will be distributed. (HL)
