[ET Net News Agency, 4 July 2018] First Pacific (00142) said its subsidiary PT Metro
Pacific Tollways Indonesia (MPTI) acquired 760 million shares in PT Nusantara
Infrastructure Tbk, representing 4.99% of the issued share capital of Nusantara, for a
total of IDR160.36 billion (equivalent to about HK$87.3 million), which is IDR211
(equivalent to about HK$0.115) per Nusantara share.
After such purchase, MPTI's shareholding in Nusantara has increased to 53.26% from
48.27%. MPTI is required to make a mandatory tender offer to purchase all of the Nusantara
shares which it does not already own. The tender offer price, which is subject to approval
by the Indonesian Financial Services Authority, is expected to be IDR211 (equivalent to
around HK$0.115) per Nusantara share, being a total amount of about IDR1,421 billion
(equivalent to about HK$773.7 million) for all the Nusantara shares, representing 44.21%
of the issued share capital of Nusantara, in respect of which the tender offer will be
made.
Nusantara is a company incorporated in Indonesia and has its shares listed on the
Indonesia Stock Exchange. Its infrastructure portfolio in Indonesia includes toll roads,
