[ET Net News Agency, 19 January 2018] Jiangsu Expressway (00177) said it was recently
informed by the Intermediate People's Court of Nanjing, Jiangsu Province that Wang Hong
Wei, a deputy general manager of Jiangsu Expressway, was found guilty of having illegally
accepted properties from others in exchange of their benefits by presuming upon his
position, which constitutes a crime upon preliminary trial.
The resolution to remove Wang Hong Wei from his position as a deputy general manager was
considered and approved at the board meeting.
The criminal offence of Wang Hong Wei was his personal conduct. Neither Jiangsu
Expressway nor any other directors, supervisors or senior management staff was involved in
any of such illegal and unlawful practice. The criminal conduct of Wang Hong Wei does not
have any impacts on the day-to-day operations and financial positions of Jiangsu
