[ET Net News Agency, 20 November 2017] Alibaba Health Information Technology (00241)
said it agreed to place about 442 million new shares at HK$4 per share, representing a
discount of about 4.31% to the closing price of HK$4.18, to Ali JK Nutritional Products
Holding Limited.
The subscription shares represent around 4.5% of the enlarged issued share capital of
Alibaba Health. Upon completion, the shareholding of the subscriber will increase to about
16.59% from 12.66%.
The estimated net proceeds of about HK$1,769 million will be used for repayment of
loans, to fund ongoing business operations and expansion, for completion of previous
committed investments, as well as future strategic acquisitions as and when appropriate
opportunities arise.
The subscriber is wholly-owned by Alibaba Group Holding Limited. (HL)
