[ET Net News Agency, 9 February 2018] Zhejiang Expressway (00576) said it agreed to
establish a joint venture company with Zhejiang Hongtu Transportation Construction
Company, a non-wholly owned by controlling shareholder Zhejiang Communications Investment
Group Co., Ltd., for purposes of investing into the Public-Private-Partnership (PPP)
project in respect of the construction of bridges, tunnels and public service station from
Deqing County to the juncture between Deqing County and Anji County.
Zhejiang Expressway and Zhejiang Hongtu have received the notification of award
regarding a tender by Deqing County Department of Transportation to engage in the
construction of bridges, tunnels and public service station in the PPP Project.
The registered capital of the JV shall not be less than Rmb100 million. The project
capital of the JV is Rmb320 million, of which Zhejiang Expressway will contribute Rmb256
million, representing 80.1% equity interests in the JV. (HL)
