China Goldjoy (01282) tips interim profit to rise 130%

[ET Net News Agency, 25 July 2018] China Goldjoy (01282) said it expects the profit
attributable to owners for the six months ended 30 June 2018 to increase by not less than
130%, as compared with the same period last year.
The increase in profit is mainly due to the group's increase in its consolidated
revenue; increase in gain from short-term securities investment; increase in fair value
gain of investment properties; and gain on bargain purchase of a newly acquired
subsidiary, which was offset by the group's decrease in other income; increase in
distribution costs and administrative expenses; and increase in finance costs and tax
expenses. (SC)
