Xiaomi (01810) signs cooperation agreement with Meitu

[ET Net News Agency, 20 November 2018] Xiaomi Corporation (01810) announced that it
entered into a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Meitu, Inc. (01357).
The agreement is about the exclusive global licence of the Meitu brand and global
licence of certain technologies and domain names in relation to future Meitu branded
smartphones. Xiaomi will be responsible for the design, research and development,
production, business operation, sales and marketing of the cooperation smartphones while
Meitu will be responsible for certain image-related algorithms and technologies of the
cooperation smartphones cameras.
The company believes that the cooperation agreement will provide a better experience for
users and help the further development of the company's overall smartphone business. (RC)
