Macau Legend (01680) tips annual loss to increase over 85%

[ET Net News Agency, 15 February 2018] Macau Legend Development (01680) said it expects
to record an increase of over 85% in its consolidated net loss for the year ended 31
December 2017 when comparing with the corresponding period in 2016.
The increase in loss is primarily attributable to an increase in depreciation arising
from the operation of Legend Palace Hotel since early 2017; an increase in finance costs
due to the cessation of interest capitalization related to Legend Palace Hotel during the
year; and an increase in impairment on property, plant and equipment and a decrease in
potential revenue due to Typhoon Hato.
Its annual results announcement will be published in March. (HL)
