[ET Net News Agency, 20 April 2018] China Huarong Asset Management (02799) said Lai
Xiaomin, due to personal reason, has submitted his letter of resignation to the Board to
resign as chairman of the Board and executive director on 17 April, and ceased to perform
the relevant duties, and the resignation took effect on the same date.
China Huarong intends to nominate Wang Zhanfeng as Chairman and an executive director,
and Li Xin as an executive director and president, after fulfilling necessary corporate
governance procedures.
Each of Huarong Investment Stock Corporation (02277) and Huarong International Financial
(00993) said as Lai is not a director, senior management or employee of the Group, and has
not involved in the management or operation of the Group, they consider the resignation of
Lai will not cause any adverse impact to the business, operation and financial positions
of the Group.
Each of China Huarong, Huarong Investment and Huarong International Financial has
applied for the resumption of trading in shares today. (HL)
